Blackout

Blackout

Skier has discovered a vulnerability in the Lab’s security system and plans to strip the facility clean. Information this valuable was never going to stay secret for long, and now all kinds of interested parties are converging on the underground complex - each with their own motives. However, someone else was already one step ahead: a team of unidentified operatives in black had infiltrated the Lab. What they're searching for remains unknown, but their presence poses a serious threat. Event Guide A new in-game event, Blackout, has begun. Once a raid starts on Laboratory, the power goes out, so make sure to bring Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) or a flashlight. The map is now occupied by Black Division soldiers and The Wedge, the boss introduced with the Icebreaker update. Raid duration has also been reduced to 25 minutes. Only two extracts are available during the event: Parking Gate and Hangar (all transit extracts are disabled). Before you can use them, you must activate the extraction panel in the Admin Room. The room is unlocked with a key that drops from Black Division soldiers and The Wedge. Instead of using keycards, previously locked rooms are now opened with a password that appears on the whiteboard in the room above and changes every raid. One of the more interesting additions is a new depth-of-field blur effect when using NVGs, making night vision feel more immersive. Access to Labs still requires a TerraGroup Labs Access Keycard. Since the keycard has become expensive on the Flea Market, several new trader offers have been added for the duration of the event: Purchase from Therapist LL3 or Ref LL3. Trade with Mechanic LL2 for 1×Bulbex Cable Cutter+ 1×Pipe grip wrench. Completing the entire questline rewards the "Into the Darkness" achievement.
Full Speed Ahead

Full Speed Ahead

Unusual Rogue activity has been detected along the coastline. Previously, they rarely left their camp at the water treatment plant, but now they appear to be conducting a full-scale reconnaissance operation. Peacekeeper is concerned about this development and wants to find out what they are searching for. Event Guide "Full Speed Ahead" was an in-game event in Escape from Tarkov that took place in May 2026. The event served as a lore prologue to the release of the new permanent map, "Boreas" (Icebreaker). It was available in both PvP and PvE modes. Main Gameplay Changes Rogue Migration: Rogues left the Water Treatment Plant on Lighthouse and flooded Shoreline and Reserve. On Reserve, they occupied stationary machine guns and roamed around the "K" buildings, train platform, and depot. Boss Adjustments: The Goons: Spawn rate became 100% on Shoreline (around the Weather Station and Hydroelectric Power Plant). They were completely removed from Customs, Woods, and Lighthouse. Glukhar: Spawn rate became 100% on Reserve. Sanitar: Spawn rate on Shoreline was slightly increased. Peacekeeper's Questline wa introduced. Completing the entire quest chain unlocked a unique legendary achievement: "Awaiting Departure".
Casus Belli

Casus Belli

The "Casus belli" in-game event in Escape from Tarkov took place in April 2026. The plot focused on the trader Ref, whose supply convoys carrying gear for the new Arena season were ambushed and looted. The questline was available to all PvP players and PvE profiles created or wiped after the 1.0 release. Key Event Features New Enemies — Pillagers. Groups of 3–4 bots wearing Arena-themed gear and carrying Ref's merchandise spawned across various locations. They behave like buffed Scavs. Unique Loot. Pillagers wear distinctive Atomic Defense "CQCM" ballistic masks, which are required for the first quest. Spawn Locations. Pillagers could be encountered on five maps: Customs, Interchange, Woods, Lighthouse, and Shoreline. Common Pillager Encounter Zones Customs: Stronghold (Fortress) and the bridge area near the RUAF roadblock. Interchange: Power plant and the highway near the former co-op extraction. Shoreline: Scav island and the weather station/resort area. Lighthouse: Construction site by the main road.
Kolotun

Kolotun

An anomalous Arctic cyclone turned Tarkov into an icy hell, making food, fuel, and alcohol the ultimate resources for survival. Amidst this crisis, Prapor attempted to secretly distribute food rations into hidden stashes across the city to secure his influence among the locals. However, Skier decided to profit from the shortage and hired PMC operators to intercept and reroute these supplies to his own warehouses. The struggle against the elements quickly escalated into a brutal clash between the two traders, all while a mad old man in a Christmas suit roamed the snow-covered ruins, handing out gifts to survivors. Event Guide Key Features and Mechanics "Frostbite" Status Effect: The core gameplay mechanic, where characters gradually froze while outdoors. Severe frostbite reduced ergonomics and stamina, caused hand tremors, and slowly drained the health of the head and limbs down to 1 HP. Players could only warm up inside heated buildings, bunkers, or near campfires. Hideout Christmas Tree: The festive Hideout module returned, allowing players to collect Christmas tree ornaments in raids to craft rare gear, weapons, and scarce items (the module remained active until January 19). Gifts from Santa Claus: A peaceful bot spawning on all locations (except The Labs) from whom players could take a unique "Santa's Bag" or receive random valuable loot by gesturing/waving at him. Important: Killing Santa severely penalized Scav karma. Unique Reward: Upon completing the entire quest chain, players received the exclusive, permanent "Kolotun" achievement displayed on their profile.
