Birdeye (Brandon Keeble) is a high-threat Rogue boss in Escape from Tarkov and part of "The Goons" trio, known for being an exceptionally quiet, long-range sniper. He patrols Customs, Woods, Shoreline, and Lighthouse with Big Pipe and Knight, featuring a massive detection radius and the ability to eliminate players through foliage.

To defeat Birdeye, it is crucial to understand that he never operates alone and always accompanies Knight and Big Pipe, so a fight with him is always a fight against the entire Goon squad. The most reliable tactic is to use enclosed spaces, such as the two-story building on Customs or the weather station structures on Shoreline, because his superhuman vision and silent footsteps give him an absolute advantage in open terrain.

You need to provoke the group's aggression and then immediately take a position around a corner inside a building or behind solid cover, forcing the bosses to push you through a narrow doorway one by one. While Knight and Big Pipe will aggressively rush you head-on, Birdeye may lie low or begin to flank, so you cannot let your guard down after eliminating the first two targets due to his ability to move completely soundlessly.

Birdeye's main weakness is the total lack of a helmet, making him extremely vulnerable to any accurate headshot from any weapon. Never try to outshoot him at a distance if he has already locked onto you; instead, break the line of sight, hide, and wait for his AI to force him closer to check your position.
