New Kord Breach PvP Season Begins
Escape from Tarkov Patch 1.1.0.0 has been released, introducing a brand-new game mode alongside the existing PvP and PvE modes — the Kord Breach PvP Season.
The traditional wipe system for the regular PvP and PvE modes has been retired and replaced with the new seasonal system. From now on, wipes will only occur within seasonal gameplay. Each season introduces two new gameplay mechanics: Global Modifiers, which affect all players throughout the season, and Personal Modifiers, which apply only to your PMC. At the end of the season, players will be able to earn exclusive achievements and rewards.
According to Battlestate Games, the update also significantly reworks side quests, with many quests becoming available earlier than before. Trader progression has also been adjusted, allowing various items, ammunition, and other equipment to be purchased earlier without requiring higher trader loyalty levels.
