Guide
The storyline explores the creation of TerraGroup's EMP weapon.
You can start the storyline by picking up an evacuation flyer from the Emergency Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) about evacuating Tarkov after the EMP pulse.
Talking to Mechanic sends you to Streets of Tarkov or Customs, where you need to visit the gathering spots of Scavs or Cultists. Mechanic believes they might have dragged parts of the bomb.
To progress through the quest, you need to go to Streets of Tarkov and head to the marked room at 13 Checkered (requires a strange key). The debris is located in the corner of the room in a pot.
After handing over the fragment to Mechanic, the trader will ask you to install a hacking device in the server room on the Laboratory map. If you die, the item will be available for purchase from Mechanic.
After placing it, you need to talk to Mechanic. The trader will give a small amount of information about Item 1156. Mechanic will also ask about the fate of the EMP bomb fragment. If you decide to keep the fragment for yourself, you will receive the "I Need It More" achievement. If you sell it to Mechanic, he will reward you with 1,500,000 rubles.
We head to the Laboratory again. In the office above the Streets passage, on one of the tables, there will be a note stating that the Item 1156 blueprint has been sent via a "Post of Rus" package.
You should check out the Streets of Tarkov Post Office. First, you need to find clues in the Post Office itself. These are three cassette tapes. The first cassette tape spawns at the entrance of the Post Office on a table. The second one spawns inside, it is not locked. The third one spawns on the coffee machine in the Post Office.
Next, we exit onto the main road and look for the blue Mail of Russia truck. The key that opens it spawns near this truck, it spawns under the rear right wheel of the truck. The truck itself is located on the street in front of the branch, near the arch with the pirate flag.
Having opened the trunk with the key, read the drawing found inside.
Having read the blueprint, the player will complete the "Blue Flame" storyline and receive the "Burn!" achievement.
