        The Unheard

        The Unheard
        Required level:1

        Objectives

        • 🔘️ Find out more information about TerraGroup's activities

        Guide

The story will tell about the mysterious group of Unknowns, which caused the events in Tarkov to begin.

You can start the quest by picking up and reading a note on the TerraGroup guard post.

        • The note is located on the Streets of Tarkov map.

Next, we head to the Laboratory. Here, you will need to collect several documents about TerraGroup's activities. In the office above the elevator with access to the Streets, there will be a fax about cargo transportation, and below, in the main testing area, in a small block, there will be a document about changes in inter-enterprise interaction.

After gathering all necessary documents in the Laboratory, you need to head to the "Factory" location. In the workshop with the crashed helicopter, near the barrels with "Blue Ice" written on the yellow barrels, lies another document.

Next, you need to head to the Streets of Tarkov. We're interested in Rzhevsky's service vehicle (a gray Gelandewagen), which is located near the LexOs car dealership. The required item is located between the two front seats.

To progress through the quest, you need to extract the data from Rzhevsky's hard drive using a level 2 Intelligence Center. The crafting process takes approximately 12 hours.

After decoding, it becomes known that the data with the catalyst test reports is located in a locked room at the Factory (requires the "Polychem" keycard). The necessary documents are inside the room - on a shelf and in a safe.

Documents lead back to the Laboratory, specifically to the lecture room. In the auditorium, you can find two audio cassettes: the first one is lying on the floor next to the first desk, and the second one is next to the laptop on the next desk.

There are currently known cases of softlock when picking up the first cassette first and then the second. First, pick up and listen to the cassette on the table, and then the one on the floor.

Information from the audio cassettes leads to the "Lazurny Bereg" sanatorium on the Shoreline map. On the first floor, in the western wing, we find a note that can be used to learn that the scientist was settled in room 305 (of the eastern wing).

In the room you can find a service apartment key, a note under the phone wire, and a flash drive in the laptop on the table.

Next, you need to decrypt the flash drive at a level 2 Intel Center. Crafting takes approximately 12 hours.

After decryption is complete, you need to seek help from Mechanic. The trader offers to help from the Electronics expert for a substantial sum - 5,000,000 rubles. Hand over the flash drive and wait.

        • Conversation with Mechanic

While waiting, Kerman contacts you. He says that we won't get anything useful from Mechanic and Electronik. He also informs you that the files on the flash drive might be part of some key. After the conversation, three new crafts appear in the Intelligence Center, involving green, red, and blue key cards.

Craft a rewritten green key card (others won't work), take the key to the TerraGroup corporate apartment, and head to Streets, specifically to the Cardinal residential complex. Enter the building closest to the exhibition center and go up to the second floor. Open the first apartment.

There will be a door with a card reader inside. A reprogrammed key card will be needed to open it.

Behind the door is a room cluttered with books and papers. Among all this debris, you will need to find 4 important documents: about the Keeper, about protocol "O", a report for TG Worldwide, and an order from the TG Worldwide headquarters.

Read them all, after which the quest will be completed.

The player receives the achievement “Breadcrumb Trail,” and with that, the story of the “Unknowns” concludes, adding another piece to Tarkov’s overarching narrative.
